Hidden Treasures is a class for special needs teens and adults, ranging in age from 13 years and older. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoons, at 4:30 pm to study God's word, to sing , to pray and of course, there are always snacks! Then we usually carpool to one of our favorite fast food places for "afterglow" and supper! There are always at least 2 adults present at our meetings.
The group's mission and purpose is best expressed in Colossians 2:2 "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
As we unite in love, we encourage each other in heart. As we study the Word at our own pace, we are gaining more and more understanding, in order to know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.
